Research on High-power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering Deposition of Ta-C Coating

Profile:

Jianzhong Li, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeastern University. He specializes in teaching and research on metal surface coating technology, aqueous solution electrochemistry, gas-sensing materials, and physical chemistry. He has presided over more than 10 vertical scientific research projects, including 1 national key research and development project, 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and 1 national major achievement transformation project, as well as over 30 enterprise horizontal research projects. He has published more than 100 SCI/EI indexed papers, applied for over 40 patents (with more than 30 authorized), and published 1 textbook and 2 academic monographs.

His scientific achievements have won 1 National Teaching Achievement Award and 4 provincial/ministerial-level scientific research awards, including the First Prize of Metallurgical Science and Technology in 2020, the Second Prize of Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Progress in 2021, the Second Prize of Metallurgical Science and Technology in 2024, and the Second Prize of the Analysis and Testing Science Award of the China Association for Analysis and Testing in 2024. Currently, he serves as Director of the Institute of Electrochemistry and Green Metallurgy, Member of the Metallurgical Reaction Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Nonferrous Metals Society, and Member of the New Energy Expert Group of the Expert Committee of the China Energy Society.
