Title: Research Progress on High-quality 8-inch Silicon Carbide Epitaxial Technology

Profile:

Yulong Fang, Ph.D., Researcher, and Master's Supervisor, currently serves as Director of the Basic Research Department at the 13th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits. He also acts as Vice President of the Youth Science and Technology Workers Association of China Electronics Technology Group, among other roles. Specializing in compound semiconductors like SiC and GaN, he has led the establishment of material process platforms and achieved key technological breakthroughs. With over 120 published papers, 16 authorized invention patents, two translated works, and contributions to formulating two group standards, he has made significant academic and technical contributions. Fang has spearheaded the construction of a 10kV high-voltage silicon carbide device pilot line and the development and application of multiple high-voltage devices. He has received accolades including the Second Prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award.
