Title: Boron Nitride Functional Materials and Their Applications
Profile:
Professor Hong Yin graduated from the Department of Physics at Jilin University in 2000, obtained a Master of Science degree from the State Key Laboratory of High Pressure and Superhard Materials at Jilin University in 2003, and earned a Doctor of Science degree from Ulm University (Germany) between 2003 and 2007, followed by postdoctoral research at the same institution. From 2008 to 2012, she served as a long-term researcher at Hasselt University (Belgium). Since 2013, she has been working at the State Key Laboratory of High Pressure and Superhard Materials, Jilin University.
Her research focuses on wide-bandgap semiconductor materials and devices, as well as functional nanomaterials and their applications. She has made multiple innovative achievements and advanced technologies in the fields of large-size boron nitride single crystals and epitaxial materials, two-dimensional single-crystal multilayer films, controllable synthesis of nanomaterials, performance regulation, and exploration of novel applications.
