Title: Alloy Design Guided by Physical Metallurgical Knowledge Graph

Profile:

Wang Chenchong, an associate professor at Northeastern University, Outstanding Youth of Liaoning Province, Outstanding Young Talents of the "Xingliao Talent Plan", and Young Scientist of the Qingshanhu Materials Genome Engineering in Hangzhou. He focuses on genetic engineering research in advanced metal structural materials, specifically using physical metallurgical information to guide machine learning. Through the coupling design of composition and preparation process, a systematic genome engineering method for steel materials is formed, ranging from solid phase transformation design to alloy performance design, and even production line process optimization. He has successively presided over 7 national level projects, including general projects, youth funds, international exchange and cooperation projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and sub projects of the National Key R&D Program. He has also led over 10 horizontal projects for enterprises. Invited to give more than 10 invited presentations at important conferences in the field, served as the chairman of sub sessions 4 times, served as a young editorial board member for the professional journal MGE Advances in the field of materials genome, and was honored with the title of Outstanding Young Editorial Board Member for the journal in 2024.
