Title: Influence of Microstructural Evolution in Al-Mg-Si(-Cu) Aluminum Alloys on the Composition, Structure, and Corrosion Resistance of Anodic Oxide Films

Profile:

Mei Yu is a full professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Beihang University. Selected for national-level talent programs, Beijing Science and Technology Nova Program, and awarded the Outstanding Youth Scholar by the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection. She specializes in fundamental and applied research on corrosion science and protection technologies for aerospace materials. She published over 50 SCI-indexed papers with 4,000+ citations, authored 2 academic monographs, and holds 30+ national invention patents. Recipient of two Provincial/Ministerial Level Science and Technology Progress Awards. She serves as Executive Council Member of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, Secretary-General of the Women Scientists Committee, and Vice Director of Non-metallic Corrosion-resistant Materials Committee. She  is an editorial board member for Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection and Materials Protection, youth editorial member for Corrosion Communications and Journal of Materials Engineering.
