Presentation Title: Exploration of laser hybrid micro-arc oxidation technology for light alloys
Resume
Dr. Guolong Wu is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology. His long-term research focuses on laser-enhanced micro-arc oxidation technology for functional surface microstructures, laser-assisted electrochemical additive/subtractive manufacturing techniques and equipment, as well as failure mechanisms and protection of lightweight metals in aerospace applications. He has led over 10 national and provincial research projects, including the National Key R&D Program, General Program and Joint Funds of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Equipment Pre-research Joint Fund of the Ministry of Education, Zhejiang Provincial Key R&D Program, and Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation. He has published more than 50 academic papers in journals such as Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Applied Surface Science, Electrochimica Acta, and Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, and holds over 30 authorized invention patents. He was awarded the First Prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award.
