Title: Discussion on the Role and Application of Rare Earth in Metal Additive Manufacturing
Profile:
Xiang Dingding, a Ph.D from Tsinghua University, is an associate professor at Northeastern University, the director of the Research Department of Northeastern University's Research Institute, and an visiting scholar at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been selected for the Liaoning Province's "Innovative Talents Program" and the "High-level Talent Program" of Shenyang City. He serves as a director and committee member of five national-level academic societies, including the Friction Mechanics Committee, Surface Engineering Committee, Additive Manufacturing Technology Committee, and Extreme Manufacturing Technology Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, as well as the Additive Manufacturing Technology Special Committee of the Chinese Nonferrous Metals Society. He is also a guest editor of eight international SCI journals, such as "Journal of Functional Biomaterials" and "Lubricants", and a special issue editor, committee member, and young committee member of over ten EI journals, including "China Surface Engineering", "Surface Technology", and "Materials Engineering". He also holds several social positions, such as an intellectual property technology investigation officer of the Liaoning Provincial Higher People's Court. He has published over 30 SCI papers and has led or participated in more than 20 national and provincial-level projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
