Prof. Dr. Liang Wu. works at Chongqing University as a full professor. He mainly engaged in the research on corrosion and protection technology of light metals. IAAM Fellow, Council member of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection. Vice Chairman of the Youth Work Committee of the Heat Treatment Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering. Member of the Standardization Technical Committee for Metal and Non Metal Coatings in China. Member of editorial board of Surface Engineering, Surface Science and Technology, Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection. Member of youth editorial board of 8 journals including JMA and so on. More than 150 SCI papers had been published, including 8 highly cited ESI papers. The H-index is 44. He had 8 national invention patents. Won the first prize of Chongqing Natural Science Award(First Completion), Chongqing Innovation Excellence Award, Tom Bell Youth Author Award, International Magnesium Science & Technology Award-Youth of the Year 2024, Outstanding Youth Achievement Award of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, 7th National Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Award for Nonferrous Metals，selected as one of the "Top 2% Scientists in the World" annual rankings in 2022 - 2024.
