Resume

Dr. Shuai Dong is an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on the plastic deformation, corrosion, and protection of high-performance magnesium alloys. He has led several national research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and the COMAC Joint Research Fund. He has published over 30 academic papers in journals such as Acta Materialia, International Journal of Plasticity, Applied Surface Science, and Electrochimica Acta, and holds 15 invention patents. In recent years, he has developed surface treatment methods such as ultra-high-frequency micro-arc oxidation to address the key issue of poor corrosion resistance in magnesium alloys, which have been successfully applied in related fields.
