Profile:

Li Wenge, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Merchant Marine College Shanghai Maritime University. Holds honors including Shanghai Dawn Scholar, Shanghai Outstanding Technology Leader. Serves as Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee on Ship Repair Technology of the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Standing Director of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, Standing Member of the Materials Division/Surface Engineering Division of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Director of the Fire Protection and Anti-Corrosion Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, Director of the Shanghai Society for Corrosion Science and Technology. Main research areas include corrosion, fouling and protection of ships and marine structures, ship machinery repair, manufacturing and surface technology, additive manufacturing and remanufacturing.
