Presentation Title: Non-electrode plasma electrolysis for fibers and powders for aero-industrial applications
Resume
Weiwei Chen, associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology. In recent years, he has mainly been engaged in the research of fiber surface modification and composite materials. He has systematically carried out the development of typical structural components of carbon fibers, the design and composite material forming of lightweight high-temperature composite felts, and the integration of large-area heat insulation and load-bearing. He has focused on breaking through the design criteria of full-size multi-sealing and the batch high-quality production of modified carbon fibers and their composite materials. He have passed the ultra-high temperature and ultra-high speed test assessment of typical carbon fiber structural components, solved the bottleneck problem, achieved the domestic substitution of overall components. He has led and presided over more than twenty projects. He has published over 30 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, including 18 in top journals. He has been granted 13 invention patents, led the approval of 2 university-level joint laboratories, is a director of the Beijing Surface Engineering Society, a member of the High Temperature Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, has hosted 1 domestic conference, invited 2 plenary sessions, and served as the chairperson of 1 international conference sub-venue.
