Profile:
Bing Dai, Professor/PhD Supervisor, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He focuses on the research of wide-bandgap semiconductor materials, plasma and equipment, high thermal conductivity ceramics, and composite materials. He serves as a member of the Electronics Materials Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, Deputy Secretary-General of the Functional Materials Branch of the Chinese Society for Instrumentation, member of the Materials Research Society of China, and youth editorial board member of Electron.
He has led 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 Military Science Commission Basic Strengthening Plan/Foundation projects, 1 Frontier Science and Technology Special Zone Fund project, 2 Key R&D Plan projects, and 1 Guangdong Provincial Key R&D Program project. He has received the Excellent Young Fund of Heilongjiang Province, the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award (2nd author), 2 First Prizes of the Heilongjiang Provincial Technological Invention Award (2nd author), the Heilongjiang Provincial Patent First Prize, the China Patent Gold Award, and the Huawei "Spark Award." He has published over 70 academic papers in journals such as Science and Advanced Materials, applied for more than 30 invention patents, received over 20 patents (including 1 US patent), and authored/translated 4 monographs.
